Jenna & Anthony – New Hall Hotel
It was back to New Hall Hotel for me on Saturday 17th September 2016 for Jenna and Anthony’s very special day. The story of our day started when Jenna opened the door full of excitement for the day ahead. In the Krug Suite with her were her Bridesmaids, Flowergirl’s and her Mum. All helping each other get ready and chatting between themselves, I love these moments when we can capture the build up to the happy day. That first glimpse of the dress, the faces of Anthony’s daughters Amyleigh, McKenzie & Layla, when they saw Jenna looking like a Princess. Meanwhile, only next door, our very nervous Groom was getting ready with his Bestwoman (Sister) Lizzie. Once I got these two outside I then realised just how much fun we were in for. Lizzie was marvellous at keeping her brother calm and collected as he waited for his beautiful Bride. What I loved about this wedding was what a close intimate family occasion this was, with the Ushers being Anthony’s niece & nephews, Bridesmaids were the Brides sisters as well as Anthony’s children playing a big role in the Bridal Party being another Bridesmaid and the Flowergirls. A true family affair. It wasn’t long before midday came around and all the guests took their seats in the Great Chamber. Our registrar Tom, a familiar face, held a lovely service and before we knew it everyone was outside celebrating with the happy couple with a glass or two of the good bubbly stuff. Jenna and Anthony had a wonderful surprise for everyone. Hidden away in two wicker baskets on the lawns were turtle white dove, Jenna and Anthony released 2 from the heart basket and their girls released about 10 more. It was a beautiful moment. After all the group photographs were taken we sneaked away with the happy couple for some quiet time and a moment to capture some beautiful images of the two of them around the stunning grounds of New Hall Hotel. Finally it was off to the Garden Pavilion for the wedding breakfast. After a sumptuous meal were the speeches. Jenna’s Dad kicked off the formalities followed by Lizzie and then Anthony. There was lots of laughter and quite a few happy tears too. After the wedding breakfast was a little time for everyone to relax and take in the whole day, but it wasn’t long before the night started to draw in and the party to begin. After the first dance everyone hit the dancefloor and when we left the shoes were being kicked off and a good old knees up was well underway. It had been a beautiful day and a pleasure to be a part of it. Than you Mr & Mrs Reeves for asking me to photograph your very special day. We wish you a long and happy life together.
A big thank you to Tomas, Corrado and Tasmin for all their hard work before and during this very special day. A pleasure as always.
