Clare & Robert ~ Moor Hall Hotel
Mid October and the sun was still shining brightly for Clare & Rob at their wedding on 15th October 2017 and it was a pleasure to be back working at one of my favourite venues Moor Hall Hotel. With Rob’s Scottish roots it was wonderful to hear the piper piping the guests as they arrived for Clare & Rob’s special day, and we even had a guest in a good old kilt :), You could tell from the vibe that I was going to have fun at this wedding. Meanwhile Clare and her entourage of Bridesmaids (daughter, niece & best friend) were busily getting ready with the final touches of hair and make up were being applied. Clare’s dress was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t wait for Rob to see her. Standing along side Rob was his son Ryan the Best Man (Who used to work at Moor Hall) , It took all Rob had to keep the tears at bay as he saw his little granddaughter walk the aisle and then his stunning Bride. It was a lovely ceremony with lots of laughter and a few happy tears and before we knew it the vows were made, rings exchanged and registers signed. The new Mr & Mrs Pettigrew led every back outside into the sunshine for some bubbles and some fun. I love working with couples who are not worried about the rules when planning their perfect wedding day, but do what feels right for them, their family, their friends and that’s exactly what this lot did… with balloon releases, photobombing and even a bit of open mike time accompanied by Clare & Rob’s entertainment, ‘Goat on a Trolley’ everyone had a wonderful time. As you will see below, I had a lot of fun, and took some great photographs, even if I do say so myself. I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Clare & Rob thank you for asking me to capture your very special day, I had a wonderful time, here’s to a long and happy future together 🙂
A Big thank you to Jamie and all his staff at Moor Hall Hotel for all their hard work, a pleasure as always.
