Cassie & Russell ~ New Hall Hotel

Cassie & Russell’s love story actually began quite a few years ago over the seas in Africa….. Russell was working abroad when he met and fell in love with his sweet Cassie who was born and raised in Zambia and it was there that they met and were married 5 years ago.  Being so far away meant that Russell’s family and friends weren’t able to attend the wedding so what better than to do it all again English sylie!!!  Cassie & Russell decided you couldn’t get more traditionally English than New Hall Hotel and only booked me for their photography a month ago. I am so glad they did though because we had so much fun at their vow renewal.  Cassie was like pure sunshine and bought a smile to everyone’s face, she was what I call infectious and could see why everyone, especially Russell loves her so much.  The first time I met Cassie was on their renewal day during in her Bridal Prep.  Greeted in Giraffe PJ’s and a crown of flowers I knew instantly we would have some fun.  The time soon flew away with us and before long everyone was seated in the Great Chamber for the ceremony.   Cassie’s four flowergirls were sooooo cute and were very excited about their important roles.  Cassie’s Sister Bernice and Russell’s Sister Stephanie were Bridesmaids and Russell’s father Jim walked his Daughter in Law down the aisle for the renewal.  After a heart warming ceremony, beautiful readings from the Bridesmaids and Best Man Michael the vows were remade and Cassie & Russell had officially tied the knot… again 😉  As you will see below Cassie & Russell requested a selection of all styles of photography, formal, informal, reportage and especially fun.  As you will see below this crazy pair were up for anything and I took full advantage of their carefree nature.  With the light quickly fading we worked our way around the grounds before finishing in the Garden Pavilion.  This time round unfortunately only Cassie’s sister could make the trip and attend the wedding,  the guests were mainly Russell’s family and their combined friends.  I loved the fact though that Cassie bought a little bit of Africa to Sutton Coldfield with the Giraffe wedding cake and authentic Zambian table runners, this way everyone would be in their thoughts just as I’m sure Russell’s family were five years ago.   Thank you Cassie & Russell for a thoroughly enjoyable day, I had so much fun with all of you and wish you both continued love and happiness ♥

A big thank you to Des and all his staff at New Hall for all their hard work at this beautiful wedding, a pleasure as always 🙂
