Rhiannon & Simon ~ Pendrell Hall
I couldn’t wait to photograph Rhiannon & Simon’s wedding on the 30th May at Pendrell Hall, Such a good looking couple who I knew would be an absolute breeze to work with…. and they didn’t disappoint 😉 The day started grey and showery, I was gutted for our Bride & Groom as we had had such wonderful weather and Rhi had her heart set on a ceremony in the beautiful gardens of Pendrell Hall but sadly it wasn’t to be this time, having said that nothing was going to dampen the spirits of our happy couple and luckily for us the rain stopped during the ceremony and we managed to get all our photographs outside,as you will see below, they turned out rather beautiful, even if I do say so myself hehe.. An air of excitement welcomed me when I arrived at Pendrell and saw our lovely ladies running around having the final touches of hair and make up. Rhi was even more beautiful than I’d imagined and I couldn’t wait for Simon to see her. Talking of Simon, he was patiently waiting downstairs with his Best men and entourage of groomsmen, all suited and booted in black tie… very very nice… what a cracking bunch of people we were going to have the pleasure of photographing. The time flew, as it always does on a wedding day and it was soon time for Rhi & Simon to get married. It was a lovely ceremony, vows were made, rings exchanged and our newly weds had their first cheeky kiss before leading us all outside to start the celebrations. Although rather shy and quiet Simon isn’t a lover of having his photograph taken I have to say he did a marvellous job, we took so many photographs in and around the stunning grounds and hall, Rhi had chosen to have me photograph a selection of relaxed as well as intimate photographs…. she even bought some massive helium balloons which looked great, even if it did feel like they were strong enough to lift us off the ground! It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches, which were hilarious and had everyone’s sides aching. Before the evening kicked off Rhi & Simon were kind enough to nip back outside with me and grab some more pictures as the sun was setting and then it was time for a good old boogie! It had been a wonderful day and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing the new Mr & Mrs Gore. Thank you so much for choosing us to photograph your special day. Here’s to a very long and happy life together.
A big thank you to all the staff at Pendrell Hall for all their hard work, it was lovely to be back and a pleasure to work you again.
