Leanne & Matthew ~ New Hall Hotel

Leanne & Matthew were married at the stunning New Hall Hotel in a gorgeous civil ceremony before family and friends on the 27th July 2018.  It was the third time in a week I had been at this wonderful venue, and it was another beautiful wedding for me.  When I arrived Leanne was having the final touches to her make up by the very talented Allison Tye so I went for a sneak peek at the dress.  It hung proudly in the Bridal Suite and I couldn’t wait for Leanne to put it on and for Matthew to see her.   Matthew had her in tears however before the ceremony even began when she opened a gift from him, revealing a beautiful necklace and earring set, well done Matthew ♥ Talking of our handsome Groom, he was patiently waiting downstairs with his Bestman (Son) Jacob and Ushers.  Everyone kept Matthew nice and calm as they waited for the wedding.  Finally the time came for the wedding and it was a lovely ceremony.  After the vows were made and Jacob safely delivered the rings the happy couple sealed the deal with a cheeky first kiss before signing the registers and leading everyone back outside into the glorious sunshine to celebrate.  It was another very hot day but none of us were complaining, just enjoying the ambience and getting a little merry.  We captured some beautiful photographs around the grounds of New Hall as you will below, Leanne and Matthew wanted a combination of relaxed and fun photography, along with a little fairy dust and magic before heading off to the Garden Pavilion for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were next on the agenda and everyone did a sterling job, especially Jacob who had video’d his speech for his Dad a few days before. After our sides ached a little too much, and few tears had been shed Leanne & Matthew agreed to a few photographs as the sun was setting… sadly the clouds had bubbled up and we didn’t think we would be able to capture one of my favourite shots…. but then all of a sudden the clouds parted and there was the sun… perfect…. Someone was definitely looking down on these two.  Then it was back to the party, and a bit more magic from our Magician friend Owen Strickland, who left us all amazed by his tricks. Flowergirl Martha treated us all to a bit of “Mamma Mia” which was priceless and then our happy couple had their first dance.  Everyone kicked off their shoes and partied the night away.  It had been a beautiful wedding, Thank you Leanne & Matthew for choosing us to photograph your big day, it was wonderful.  Here’s wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter and happy ever after ~ Sally & Dave xx

A big thank you to Des and all his staff at New Hall for all their hard work at this beautiful wedding.  A pleasure as always
