Claire & James ~ Moxhull Hall Hotel

Claire and James were married in a beautiful ceremony at Coleshill Parish Church before family & friends and then celebrated their nuptials at one of my favourite venues, Moxhull Hall Hotel.   It was a beautiful autumn day, not too hot but still very warm with a gentle breeze to add to the mix.  Claire was having the final touches to her hair and makeup when I arrived and I set about my work photographing her beautiful dress which hung in the room upstairs.  It was a lovely chilled atmosphere and Claire and her Maids were very excited about the day ahead.  I soon set off to Church where I met James and his entourage in the local pub… where every good wedding begins 😉  After a quick drink for luck they all made their way to the church and the photographs began.  James was on good form and his Bestman and Ushers did a fabulous job of keeping him calm.  The Bridesmaids were soon to arrive shortly followed by our beautiful Bride…However there was a slight hiccup as Claire had forgotten her flowers 🙁 Thankfully  Bob from Love Wedding Cars was on the case and ran back for them while we took some photographs…. phew!  So although starting a little late (well it is a Brides Prerogative) the wedding was finally underway.  It was a lovely emotional service with tears of laughter and fabulous hymns.  The vows were made, rings exchanged and the new Mr & Mrs Hassell sneaked their first married kiss.  With the registers signed Claire & James made their way back outside into the sunshine to start the celebrations. After running through a tunnel of confetti and lots of congratulatory hugs and kisses  we started photographing our groups of family & friends.  We then made our way to the stunning Moxhull Hall where Gary was on hand with the welcome drinks and the drinks reception began.  We continued to photograph around the gorgeous grounds and captured some great results as you will see below.  Claire & James requested photographs both fun, natural and also some intimate moments.  With the day whizzing by it was soon time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches, always a treat and great to see everyone with their sides hurting from laughter.  With the meal out of the way there was just enough time for us to nip back outside for some evening photographs before guests arrived for the party.  Claire & James cut their cake and hit the dance floor for the first dance,  with everyone joining them they all let their hair down and had a great time dancing the night away.  It had been a wonderful day, thank you so much Claire & James for asking us to photograph your very special wedding, we had a wonderful time.  Here’s to a very happy and long life together ~ Sally & Dave

A big thank you to Gary and all his staff for another fantastic wedding, a pleasure as always xx
