Sarah and Darren ~ New Hall Hotel

Excitement was in the air on the 26th October as it was Sarah & Darren’s turn to tie the knot.  Sarah was still at the hairdressers when I arrived at New Hall Hotel for her Bridal prep.  So I was lucky enough to have a sneaky peek and photograph her beautiful dress, shoes and flowers before she returned.  Police woman Sarah self confesses she NEVER wear’s a dress but I thought she chose perfectly.  If you’re going to be a Princess for the day you may as well do it properly.  She was hot on my heals along with her 2 Bridesmaids (best friend and Darren’s daughter) and it was time to get the show on the road.  With a couple of finishing touches to her make up it was time to put that beautiful gown on.  Darren wasn’t going to believe his eyes just as Sarah’s Dad couldn’t when he first saw her dressed and ready to go.  Meanwhile at All Saints Church Four Oaks, Darren (also a Police man) patiently waited with his Bestman and ushers (one being his son).  They all looked so very smart and were having lots of fun with the banter flowing.  He couldn’t wait for Sarah to arrive and the excitement twinkled in his eyes.  With everyone finally seated in Church our beautiful Bridesmaids arrived, shortly followed by Sarah and her very proud Dad.  As she emerged into the brilliant sunshine, she sparkled and twinkled and both beamed from ear to ear.  Finally it was time for the wedding 🙂  Father Adrian led in the Bridal party and we were off.  It was a lovely ceremony.  Vows were made, rings exchanged, the deal sealed with a cheeky kiss and the registers were signed.  The new Mr & Mrs Sutton led everyone back outside for congratulatory hugs and kisses and then our photographs began.  It was a funny old day with the weather, one minute brilliant sunshine  the next spitting with a few drops of rain and very very cold, but nothing would dampen this happy couples spirits especially when their doggies turned up to the wedding.  Yasmin (Mummy Dog also a Police Dog) and her baby girl Lucky were on their best behaviour as they had their photographs taken, so cute hehehe, and were full of kisses for everyone.   Finally the confetti was thrown and we all made our way for the drinks reception at one of my favourites New Hall Hotel.  As you will see below we took some beautiful photographs around the stunning grounds of New Hall, and when that amazing autumn sunshine came out we used it to its best.  Sarah and Darren were such stars braving the freezing cold but it was so worth it.  My last job of the day was to photograph the Garden Pavillion and the cutting of the cake before I said my goodbyes.  It was been a wonderful day, with some old familiar faces 🙂  Thank you Sarah & Darren for choosing me, here is to a long and happy life together ~ Sally xx

Thank you to all the staff at New Hall Hotel,  A pleasure to be back as always.
