Miriam & Tom ~ Moxhull Hall

It was wonderful to start my 2019 wedding season at the beautiful Moxhull Hall Hotel with Miriam & Tom’s gorgeous wedding.   Moxhull Hall had undergone a make over since New Year, how excited was I to be one of the very first to photograph my stunning couple in the new Main Hall.  We all woke to a rather grey day on the 17th February 2019  but I did have a little whisper to the weather and ask for the sun to make an appearance 😉  The first of many first’s that day was a visit to Moxhull’s new dressing room where Miriam and her sister were getting ready.  Miriam’s beautiful dress hung in the room, her converse trainers along with her dinosaur socks lay by the side, one look at those and I knew we were in for fun.  Miriam made the final touches to her make-up and then it was time to put on the dress… always my favourite part… Shhhhh!  Don’t tell the Groom 😉 Talking of our handsome Groom, Tom, his Bestman and Ushers were patiently waiting in the newly decorated bar, pints in hand and sharing a bit of banter to keep Tom calm. I loved how quirky the boys suits were, it was lovely to see something a little different.  After photographing the boys I went to grab ten minutes with our Bridesmaids and Flowergirls.  The happy couples daughter Millie was such a cutie and was very very excited about Mummy and Daddy’s special day.  It wasn’t long before Miriam’s proud Father arrived to walk her to the Main Hall for the ceremony.  He looked proud as punch as her modelled his dinosaur waistecoat and dickie bow tie for me haha… The music started and the ceremony began.  Everyone beamed from ear to ear, it was such a lovely service.  There were heartfelt readings and a tear or two.  The vows and declarations were made, rings exchanged and the new Mr & Mrs Hancox sealed the deal with a cheeky little kiss ♥  After signing the registers the newly weds led us all to the new Garden Room for the drinks reception.  We were so lucky with the weather and although a little nippy I soon got everyone outside for some group photographs.  After the formal shots were done I took Miriam and Tom for a little quiet time to take some more intimate shots.  This pair were a dream to photograph, even though Tom reckoned he didn’t like to have his picture taken 😉  The sun started to set on a wonderful day which was a sign to me to get everyone back inside for the Wedding Breakfast.  The Main Hall had been transformed for Afternoon Tea, which again was another first for me at Moxhull Hall, it didn’t disappoint.  After Tea were the speeches, 3 great speeches having us all giggling and giving us aching cheeks and one wonderful announcement the Miriam and Tom were expecting a Baby Girl later in the year 🙂  Millie was very happy about being a big sister.  It was then over to the Marquee for the evening do,  Miriam and Tom cut their cake of  ‘Cheese’ before taking to the dnce floor for the their first dance.  The fabulous Dave Clarke got everyone on the dancefloor to dance the night away to his top tunes and it was time for me to say my goodbyes.  It had been a great first wedding of 2019, Here are a few of my favourite pictures from the newlyweds very special day.  Thank you Miriam & Tom for asking me to photograph your wonderful wedding, here’s to a long and happy life together ~ Sally & Dave xx

A big thank you to Andreas and all his team for another fabulous wedding.  I absolutely adore the renovations, here’s to lots of new beautiful weddings and new beautiful photographs at the Beautiful Moxhull Hall
