Sophie & Kevin – Moxhull Hall
On Thursday 2nd June 2016 Sophie & Kevin were married in the stunning setting of Calliope’s Garden at Moxhull Hall. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with family and friends in attendance.

Sophie and Kevin’s story is so lovely, they’ve known each other since they were really little and first became friends at pre school. They grew up together with both families being friends but they were never officially an item. Life took them in different directions and it wasn’t until they met up again at a primary school reunion that they realised just how well they got on. They got on so well that night that they started going on a few dates… then they started going on lots of camping trips together, a passion for both of them. It was their 10yr anniversary last September and they decided to go camping back to the New Forrest where their relationship first began. They went out really early that misty morning to watch the sun rise, which is where Kevin dropped to one knee, ring in hand to ask Sophie to marry him. She couldn’t believe it, he’d finally done it and the wedding planning began.
The day of the wedding arrived and although it was forecast to be very cloudy it really wasn’t. It was a beautiful summer day and extremely warm. Sophie was practically ready when i arrived at Moxhull Hall. Her beautiful Ladybird wedding gown hung from the wardrobe. It was a beautiful A line dress with lace illusion sweetheart neckline with a button back and a chapel length train. Sophie wore a half length veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of blue freesias and white roses. I couldn’t wait for Kevin to see her. Talking of our groom, he was patiently waiting downstairs for his bride to be along withe his Bestmen Graeme (Sophie’s Brother) and Kevin. They all looked very smart and did a great job of keeping Kevin calm as he waited for his Bride. Next I photographed the Bridesmaids, they were Hannah & Tasha and Flowergirls were Emily (5yrs) and Chloe (2yrs) They all looked beautiful. Finally the moment we’d been waiting for the wedding 🙂 Sophie’s Dad Paul struggled to keep the tears at bay when he saw his daughter for the first day. They beamed from ear to ear as they descended the grand staircase and made their way through the rose walk way to Calliope’s Garden. String Quartet Nero started to play and Sophie and her very proud Dad walked down the aisle to Kevin. It was a lovely ceremony. Hannah read a great reading personally written for them by their Aunty . The vows and declarations were made, rings exchanged and Sophie & Kevin sealed the deal with a cheeky little kiss. The registers were signed and witnessed by Stacey & Kevin. Finally the new Mr & Mrs McNamara took their first steps back down the aisle, into the sunshine to start the champagne drinks reception. We took some beautiful photographs in and around the wonderful grounds that Moxhull has to offer (see below). We also photographed the heart felt speeches which had everyone giggling and it wasn’t long until everyone was partying the night away to the sounds of Apollo Soul who were absolutely amazing. It really had been a wonderful wedding day. Thank you Sophie & Kevin for choosing us to photograph your beautiful wedding. We wish you a long and happy life together and enjoy your surprise honeymoon 🙂
A big thank you to Gary Kaas and all his staff for yet another marvellous wedding, outstanding service as always.
