Jo and Adam ~ New Hall Hotel

Jo and Adam were married in the stunning Great Chamber at the beautiful New Hall Hotel, before family and friends, on the 9th March 2019.  It was wonderful to be back at New Hall and a pleasure to photograph the lovely Jo and Adam.  Although the weather forecast was a little mixed we were so lucky that it stayed dry, albeit a little chilly 😉  When I arrived at New Hall Hotel Jo and her Bridesmaids were practically ready, so after a few photographs of the girls together it was time to put on the dresses.  Ava (Jo’s daughter) and Rosa (Niece) had been waiting ALL DAY for this moment but it was so worth it as they looked beautiful.  Jo was then helped into her dress by Jennifer (sister) and  Isabel (Adam’s daughter), with Ava adding the finishing touches at the end.  Jo looked stunning and I couldn’t wait for Adam to see her.  Talking of our Groom he was patiently waiting in the bar downstairs with Bestman David,  Ben (Son)  and Jack (Nephew).  The boys looked ever so smart and they all did a great job of keeping Adam calm as he waited for his Bride.  The time soon came around and everyone was seated in the Great Chamber for the ceremony.  After a few more photographs with the Bridesmaids, Jo and her very proud Dad it was time for the wedding.   It was a lovely ceremony officiated by our registrar friends Tom and Kathy.   Jennifer and David both gave readings as well as witnessing the signing of the registers, but not before the vows and declarations were made, rings exchanged and a cheeky first kiss.  At last the new Mr & Mrs Meakin took their first steps as man and wife back down the aisle to begin the celebrations.  It was very very windy but we still managed to have all our group photographs outside.  Infact Jo and Adam braved the cold a little longer so we could capture some beautiful intimate moments around the wonderful grounds of New Hall.  Once the formalities were out the way and everyone had filled their tummy’s at the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches.  Jo’s Dad kicked things off followed by Jennifer, Adam and David.  They were all great speeches which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. We then had a little break before the evening guests started to arrive so Jo and Adam agreed to pop back outside with me to capture some evening photographs.  The party then got into full swing with Adam & Jo having their first dance.  Ben then decided he would like to make a little speech for his Dad and Jo which was truely wonderful and bought a tear to everyones eye…  then everyone kicked off their shoes for a good old boogie on a dance floor full of balloons.  It really had been a wonderful day as you will see in the photographs below, these are just a few of my favourites from their very special day.

Huge Congratulations Jo and Adam, I wish you both a very happy and long married life together ~ Sally xx

A big thank you to all the staff at New Hall for all their hard work at this beautiful wedding, a pleasure as always 🙂
